
On June 24 and 25 over 175 people from the Adirondacks and around the world participated in an international conference on climate change at the
Wild Center in Tupper Lake. Former ARC president Ross Whaley organized the meeting with co-chair Carter Bales. Topics ranged from carbon abatement strategies to itemizing likely consequences of climate change for the Adirondacks and beyond.
